Philanthropy

“The meaning of life is to find your gift. The purpose of life is to give it away.” This existential adage is attributed to either William Shakespeare or Pablo Picasso, two geniuses in their respective fields of expertise. However, its veracity is undeniable. Giving back is a recognition of the exploits that elevated someone to the privileged position to have and the appreciation of the circumstances of those in need. According to Jacob Cline, it is incumbent human nature and therefore pertinent that we recognize the presence of others and for those who can to act in alleviating the plight of those who may not have the means to help themselves even if only temporarily.
